What does a What's a Mook? Games membership come with?
Thank you for wanting to support What's a Mook? Games! When you become a premium member, you'll get a bunch of fun perks, like exclusive early access to new games in development, new features and new modes for our existing games, your personal playing stats, silly room codes, and more!
Your membership will go towards our rapidly rising server costs, new games, and improvements and new features for our existing games! All while helping our games stay free!
How do I start my membership?
Visit your account page, and login if you aren't already logged in. You must use either a Twitch account or Google account to login; your membership and all of your personal history of playing in our games are stored with your account, so make sure you login with the same account you've either played with before and/or intend to play with going forward.
Then click the blue "Join" button under your desired Tier level (you can switch between Monthly and discounted Yearly plans above the Tiers). You'll be taken to a Stripe-hosted page where you can complete your transaction.
You'll be able to upgrade or downgrade your membership to a different Tier level at any time.
What payment methods do you accept?
What's a Mook? Games partners with
Stripe to process payments, at which we accept the following payment methods:

How safe is it to use my credit card? Do you store my info?
To process payments, What's a Mook? Games partners with
Stripe, which is one of the most trusted and secure online payment services available. They have PCI Service Provider Level 1 Certification, which is the highest level of certification in the payments industry.
Stripe stores and processes your payment information securely; we do not store or have access to your credit card or other payment information anywhere on our side.
How do I upgrade or downgrade my membership?
To change your membership tier, visit your Account page, and click the blue "Manage your membership" button, which takes you to a Stripe-hosted page where you can update your plan.
How do I cancel my membership?
To cancel your membership, visit your Account page, and click the blue "Manage your membership" button, which takes you to a Stripe-hosted page where you can cancel your plan.
Your membership would remain active and usable until the end of your billing period, when it will expire with no further charges.
Are there further ways to support What's a Mook? Games financially?

What are membership gift codes?
A membership gift code is a unique, one-time use, 8-character code that you can purchase and share with anybody else that they can use to start a membership of their own to What's a Mook? Games, at no charge to them. You can purchase as many as you like (up to 50 at a time), for any of our three Tier levels, for either one month or one year.
A gift code technically acts as a discount which the recipient would apply to their purchase of a new membership, covering the first month (or year) of the Tier level it was purchased for. It can even be used as a partial discount on the first month (or year) of a purchase of a higher Tier membership. And, if the recipient is already a member, they can even add the gift code's value to their account as a credit towards their future membership charges!
How do I purchase membership gift codes? Can I purchase more than one at a time?
Visit your Account page, and login if you aren't already logged in. Click the yellow "Buy gift code(s)" button under your desired Tier level (you can switch between Monthly and discounted Yearly plans above the Tiers). You'll be taken to a Stripe-hosted page where you can complete your transaction. On that page, you can change the quantity (up to 50 at a time) of your selected gift code by opening the "Qty" pulldown under the product description.
After you purchase one or more gift codes, it/they will be listed on your
Account page (click on "View your purchased gift codes" towards to the top of the page). To share a gift code with a recipient, simply copy/paste the code's "Link to share" URL in a direct message or email to them. That link will contain all the instructions they need to use the gift code.
Where can I find the gift codes I've purchased?
Visit your Account page, and click the blue "View your purchased gift codes" button towards the top of the page. You can also find this page directly at
https://whatsamook.games/account/giftcodes.
There you may see which of your gift codes have been redeemed, and by whom.
How do I use a gift code to start a membership?
If you were given a website link containing the gift code, simply visit the website link (it should look like https://whatsamook.games/giftcode/
XXXXXXXX where
XXXXXXXX is your gift code), and follow the instructions there.
If you have the 8-character code itself, visit
https://whatsamook.games/giftcode, enter your code in the box, and click the submit button. You'll be taken to a page with instructions on how to use your code.
Notes:
- The above pages should help you automatically apply your gift code discount when you go to start your membership, but you may also manually apply it during checkout by clicking on "Add promotion code", entering your 8-character code into the box, and then pressing enter or clicking "Apply". You should see your discount immediately applied.
- You may use a gift code to apply a discount to any new membership, even if they are for different Tier levels. Note that if your gift code is worth more than your initial charge, your order will be free, but you will lose the rest of the discount provided by the gift code.
Can I use a gift code to extend or upgrade my existing membership?
Yes! You may apply additional gift codes to your account as credit towards your future membership charges by visiting their website links that they came with, or entering them one at a time at

Can I use more than one gift code at a time?
Due to a Stripe restriction, you may only use one gift code to start your membership, but you may apply additional gift codes to your account as credit towards your future membership charges by entering them one at a time at

Do gift codes expire?
Unused gift codes expire 365 days after they are purchased.
